The Kingdom of Heaven is in seed form. Most seeds are released into the soil of the soul and, in time, are able to bear fruit. This natural cycle of scarification allows water to penetrate the seed of God’s word and grow in our hearts. This is a picture of the Garden of Eden. God creates everything by His spoken word through faith. Then there’s seed who’s outer coating is so thick that only fire can release the testa, or seed coat. In the natural, this is usually through lightning strikes. These seeds or words, have a testimony to bear. They come along every generation or so when the fires of revival come upon God’s people.
These seeds are coming forth by the fire of Elijah to a generation walking in faith. The baptism we were promised by embracing Jesus, has emboldened us to approach the throne and to marvel at the mysteries of God’s revelation to this generation.
Pro 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.
The word ‘thing’ and ‘matter’ are both the same Hebrew word that literally means ‘a word’. It is the intention of this blog to examine many words from a different angle and realize God’s word is like precious diamonds. Over time, diamonds are carefully cut to reveal different facets. These facets have beautiful mysteries to reveal as you hold them up to the light. How you understand words is how you understand yourself and your place in this life. Remember, Jesus if the Word made flesh. In Him is Life and His Life is the Light of men. Since we have a promise given to us by our Father through Jesus, we have lifetime to search out how God’s word create in us a clean heart renew our perspective on our own identity as children of God.
